Hospitality

The menu that updates itself.

The menu changes, the weather changes, the promotion ends — and someone tapes new slips over the poster. With a digital menu board you change your menu in seconds. No print shop, no waiting, no compromise on how it looks.

[ 01 ] Why digital

A menu that thinks along.

A menu board is not a television with pictures on it. It is the sign your guest decides in front of within a few seconds — and that is exactly what we build it for.

Seconds, not days

Swap content yourself

Price adjusted, dish sold out, lunch offer over: you change it in SCRN Cloud and every display in the venue picks it up immediately.

Scheduling

Breakfast, lunch, dinner

The menu switches automatically by time of day. Coffee and croissants in the morning, hot kitchen from eleven — without anyone having to remember.

No print costs

No more reprints

Every price change otherwise means layout, printing and mounting. Digital removes that — which pays off within the first year across several branches.

Appetite, not adverts

Calm animation

Subtle movement draws the eye to what you want to sell. Not a flashing advertising screen that guests learn to ignore.

Evening ready

Readable in any light

Brightness and colour temperature adapt. Strong against sunlight at midday, warm and non-glaring in the evening.

Night mode

Switches itself off

Displays go off at closing time and back on in the morning. That saves electricity and extends panel life.

[ 02 ] Outdoors

Outside too, where people walk past.

The menu in the window or at the entrance decides who comes in. That needs more brightness than indoors — otherwise all a passer-by sees in the sun is a reflecting black rectangle.

  • High-brightness panels from 1,500 cd/m², readable in direct sunlight.
  • Portrait for the entrance, landscape above the counter — both mountable at no extra cost.
  • Automatic dimming by daylight, so it does not glare in the evening.
  • Burn-in protection for standing menus that stay unchanged for weeks.

[ 03 ] Process

From paper menu to display.

For a standard setup we plan one to two weeks from your first message to live operation.

We look at the space

Where do guests stand, where does light fall, how far is the viewing distance? Diagonal, format and brightness follow from that — not from a catalogue.

The menu becomes a layout

We translate your menu into a layout that works at a distance: type sizes, grouping, price columns, room for promotions.

Hardware and installation

Displays come from stock, our own team mounts, wires and calibrates. No subcontractors.

Handover and operation

You get your cloud access and a briefing so your team swaps content itself. Monitoring keeps running on our side.

[ 04 ] Cost

What it costs.

You buy the displays once, the software runs as a monthly licence per display. The concrete quote follows the briefing — these figures give you the order of magnitude.

[ 05 ] FAQ

Common questions from this sector.

Can I change the menu myself or do I have to ask you?
You change it yourself. In SCRN Cloud you swap prices, dishes and promotions in a few clicks — any team manages that without prior knowledge. If you prefer, our motion team takes over seasonal updates instead.
How many displays do I need above the counter?
That depends on the width of the counter and the length of the menu. As a guide: up to about twelve dishes one 55-inch display in landscape is enough; beyond that two or three surfaces side by side read more calmly than one crowded screen.
What happens if a display fails?
Our monitoring reports failures in real time, usually before you notice. For critical installations we are on site within 24 hours, for standard installations within three working days. Spare units are stocked in Berlin.
Do the displays meet fire-safety requirements?
Yes. We only use devices with commercial approval that meet the fire-safety requirements for mounting in hospitality spaces. Consumer televisions regularly do not.
Does this work across several branches?
That is exactly what the platform is built for. You maintain one menu and publish it to all locations — or give individual branches their own promotions. With SCRN Premium content runs synchronised across several displays.
Can we keep our existing displays?
Often yes. We check free of charge whether your devices can be connected to our CMS. If they can, you save the hardware investment — if not, we say so directly.

Show us your menu.

Send us your current menu and a photo of the counter — then we will tell you which format fits and what it costs. Reply within two working days.
