The printed timetable at the entrance is wrong after the first sick note. Whoever changes it prints again or writes next to it in pen — and members learn not to trust it. Digitally it shows today’s state, cancellation and cover included.
Hardly any business has as many short-notice changes as a studio with a class programme: cover, cancellations, moved rooms, new times at the turn of the month. That is the point where a digital surface genuinely reduces effort.
Seconds, not a notice
Cancellation visible at once
Instructor ill, class moved, room swapped: you change it in SCRN Cloud and the surface at the entrance shows it immediately — before the first members wait for nothing.
Scheduling
What runs today sits at the top
The display follows the clock: the next class first, past ones hidden. Members see what is relevant in the next hour.
Training floor
Exercises and house rules
Technique notes, circuit sequences or rules on racking weights run on the surface — content nobody otherwise reads.
Sales
Offers without posters
Trial sessions, add-on services, drinks offers or personal training: pointers run where members are waiting anyway.
Several sites
One timetable, every studio
Maintain timetables and promotions centrally, adjust per site. Anyone running a chain saves the bulk of the administrative work.
Continuous operation
From the first to the last hour
Studios have long opening hours, many with 24-hour access. Our panels are built for that, consumer televisions are not.
[ 02 ] In the studio
Large rooms, long viewing distances.
A studio is usually a high, open room. The surface has to be readable from ten or fifteen metres — that decides the diagonal and type size, not the price of the device.
Diagonal by viewing distance — as a guide about one sixth of the distance; at ten metres that means 85 inches or a wall.
From 500 cd/m², more with daylight through window fronts and skylights.
Burn-in protection for standing timetables that stay unchanged for hours.
Portrait at the entrance for the day’s plan, landscape on the training floor.
For a standard setup we plan one to two weeks from your first message to live operation.
We look at the studio
Entrance, reception, training floor, class rooms. Where do members stand still, where are the viewing distances long?
The timetable becomes a layout
We build a template your team only enters classes into: clear time columns, instructor, room, flags for cancellation and cover.
Installation
Displays come from stock, our team mounts and calibrates — with a mount that sits safely in a room full of equipment and mirrors.
Handover and operation
Reception maintains the plan itself, which takes minutes. Monitoring keeps running on our side.
[ 04 ] Cost
What it costs.
You buy the displays once, the software runs as a monthly licence per display. The concrete quote follows the briefing — these figures give you the order of magnitude.
Can we pull the timetable from our management software?
For standard cases we work with templates your team enters classes into. An automatic connection to class or membership software we assess case by case — tell us which system is in use.
How large does the display at the entrance need to be?
That depends on the distance it is read from. At reception 55 inches is usually enough; on an open training floor at ten metres, 85 inches or a video wall makes more sense.
Does sound run on the displays?
Possible, but we usually advise against it — music plays in the studio and two sound sources interfere. Content is therefore built to work without sound.
Do the displays cope with 24-hour operation?
Yes, they are rated for 24/7 and built for 50,000 operating hours. For studios with night access that is precisely where consumer devices fail after a few months.
Can we control several studios centrally?
Yes. Timetables and promotions can be maintained centrally and adjusted per site. Surfaces running in sync need SCRN Premium.
Can we keep our existing screens?
Often yes. The check costs nothing. If the devices are fit for continuous operation we connect them and take over content, control and maintenance.
What does your entrance area look like?
A photo of reception and the training floor is enough — then we will tell you which surfaces make sense and what they cost. Reply within two working days.
