A sofa stands in one fabric and one colour in the showroom — forty are available. The customer sees the swatch card and has to imagine the rest. A surface next to the piece shows that same variant for real, in a room, at the right size.
Showroom space is the most expensive item in furniture retail. That is exactly why the value of a surface lies not in advertising but in showing the range there is no floor space for.
Variants
Fabrics, colours, dimensions
The same range in other covers, sizes and configurations — on a surface right at the piece, instead of on a swatch card.
Room settings
The piece in context
A single item reads differently from a furnished room. On the surface you show the setting that is not built in the showroom.
Delivery time
Current, not estimated
Availability changes weekly. If the figure on the surface is right, it replaces a question at the consultation desk.
Promotions
Discounts without a forest of posters
At the turn of the month, by season or for run-out models: changes are on every surface in seconds, without printing and without stands.
Manufacturer material
The brands’ campaigns
Furniture manufacturers supply high-quality image and film productions. Digitally you use them in the quality they were made in.
Large surfaces
Wide rooms need size
In halls with ten-metre sight lines only large diagonals or video walls register. Small displays get lost between furniture.
[ 02 ] On the floor
Bright halls, long sight lines.
Interior stores are brightly lit, often with skylights. A surface has to work against that and feel warm at the same time — technically more demanding than a display in an office.
From 500 cd/m² indoors, more under skylights and at glass façades.
85 inches or a video wall for main surfaces; smaller displays only right at the piece, where reading happens from two metres.
Factory colour matching — with fabric and wood tones every colour deviation shows.
Burn-in protection for price labels and logos that stand for weeks.
For a standard setup we plan one to two weeks from your first message to live operation.
We look at the store
Main routes, departments, sight lines and lighting. Where do customers stop, where do staff advise?
The content gets built
From manufacturer material and your range we build sets per department — variants, room settings, promotions, delivery notes.
Installation
Displays come from stock, our team mounts wall surfaces, stands or video walls including mount and calibration.
Handover and operation
Your team maintains promotions and delivery times itself. Departments can be run separately, monitoring stays with us.
[ 04 ] Cost
What it costs.
You buy the displays once, the software runs as a monthly licence per display. The concrete quote follows the briefing — these figures give you the order of magnitude.
Yes, that is the normal case. Every surface can show its own content — kitchen, upholstery, bedroom, outdoor — and additionally overlay store-wide promotions.
How large do the surfaces need to be?
That depends on the distance. Right at the piece 43 to 55 inches is enough because reading happens from two metres. On main routes and in tall halls 85 inches or a video wall is necessary.
Can we use manufacturer material?
Yes, and it is usually the best material available. We prepare it for the formats of your surfaces. You clear usage rights with the manufacturer.
Can stock levels be displayed?
For standard cases we work with templates your team enters delivery times and promotions into. An automatic connection to the ERP system we assess case by case.
How high are electricity costs with many surfaces?
A 55-inch display costs roughly the equivalent of 15 to 25 euros a month depending on brightness, large surfaces correspondingly more. Night mode switches off outside opening hours and lowers that considerably.
Can we keep our existing screens?
Often yes. The check costs nothing. If the devices are fit for continuous operation we connect them.
