The SCRN hardware.
Available from stock, in various diagonals and in portrait as well as landscape — built for 24/7 continuous operation.
For shop windows in south- and west-facing locations we use high-brightness panels from 1,500 cd/m². The brightness required is decided by the orientation of the façade.
A television is built for two hours of evening viewing.
A menu board runs fourteen hours a day, shows the same image for weeks and hangs in a room with fire-safety requirements. Consumer devices do not survive that — not because they are bad, but because they were engineered for something else.

Power supply, cooling and panel are designed for uninterrupted operation. 50,000 hours of lifetime equal around six years around the clock.
Burn-in protection
A menu standing in the same place for weeks burns into a consumer panel. Our devices have protective mechanisms against that.
Fire-safety compliant
Commercial mounting in hospitality and retail spaces is subject to requirements consumer televisions regularly fail. Ours meet them.
Built against daylight
From 500 cd/m² indoors, from 1,500 in a shop window. A television sits at around 250 and disappears behind the glass.
Remote maintenance
Restarts, settings and updates run remotely. Nobody has to climb a ladder to swap a stick.
Portrait and landscape
Both orientations are intended rather than improvised — with a custom-fit mount and adjustment.
