Digital information boards.

Prices change, opening hours change, the promotion ends — and someone tapes new slips over the notice. With a digital information board you change content in seconds. No print shop, no waiting, no compromise on how it looks.

[ 01 ] Why digital

Content that thinks along.

An information board is not a television with pictures on it. It is the surface someone orients themselves or decides in front of within a few seconds — and that is exactly what we build it for.

Seconds, not days

Change content yourself

Price adjusted, product sold out, promotion over: you change it in SCRN Cloud and every display picks it up immediately.

Scheduling

Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Content switches automatically by time of day. Coffee and croissants in the morning, hot food from eleven — without anyone having to remember.

No print costs

No more reprints

Otherwise every price change costs layout, printing and mounting. Digitally that disappears — which pays off in the first year across several branches.

Appetite, not ad break

Calm animation

Subtle movement draws the eye to what you want to sell. Not a flashing advertising screen that people learn to ignore.

Evening-ready

Readable in any light

Brightness and colour temperature adapt. Strong against daylight at noon, warm and non-glaring in the evening.

Night mode

Switches itself off

Displays turn off at closing time and on again in the morning. That saves electricity and extends panel life.

[ 02 ] Hardware

Why a television does not last in continuous operation.

The obvious thought is a cheap television from an electronics store. It works — for six months. After that it shows a burnt-in content, does not switch off at night and meets no fire-safety requirement.

[ 03 ] Outdoor

Outside too, where people walk past.

The surface in the window or at the entrance decides who comes in. That needs more brightness than indoors — otherwise all a passer-by sees in sunlight is a mirroring black rectangle.

  • High-brightness panels up to 2,500 cd/m², readable in direct sunlight.
  • Portrait for the entrance, landscape for wide walls — both mountable at no extra cost.
  • Automatic dimming following daylight, so it does not glare in the evening.

We offer outdoor LED surfaces on request — for shop windows and sheltered entrances the high-brightness solution is usually the right one.

[ 04 ] Process

From printed notice to display.

For a standard setup we plan one to two weeks from the first message to live operation.

We look at the room

Where do people stand, where does light fall, how far is the viewing distance? Diagonal, format and brightness follow from that — not from a catalogue.

Content becomes a layout

We translate your content into a layout that works at a distance: type sizes, grouping, columns, room for promotions.

Hardware and installation

Displays come from stock, our own team mounts, cables and calibrates. No subcontractors.

Introduction and operation

You get cloud access and a walkthrough so your team can swap content themselves. Monitoring keeps running on our side.

[ 05 ] Costs

[ 06 ] From practice

12 branches, one menu.

For RISA Chicken we equipped the menu boards in twelve Berlin branches. Promotions are set centrally and run everywhere at the same time — previously that meant swapping posters twelve times.

"The displays draw attention to our promotions and make the menu at the counter instantly readable."

[ 07 ] FAQ

Common questions about information boards.

Can I change the content myself or do I have to ask you?
You change it yourself. In SCRN Cloud you swap prices, content and promotions in a few clicks — any team manages that without prior knowledge. If you prefer, our motion team handles seasonal updates instead.
How many displays do I need?
That depends on the width of the wall and the amount of content. As a guide: up to about twelve lines one 55-inch display in landscape is enough; beyond that two or three surfaces side by side read more calmly than one crowded screen.
What happens if a display fails?
Our monitoring reports failures in real time, usually before you notice. For critical installations we are on site within 24 hours, for standard installations within three working days. Spare units are stocked in Berlin.
Do the displays meet fire-safety requirements?
Yes. We only use devices with commercial approval that meet the fire-safety requirements for mounting in commercial spaces. Consumer televisions regularly do not.
Does this work across several branches?
That is exactly what the platform is built for. You maintain one set of content and publish it to all locations — or give individual sites their own promotions. With SCRN Premium content runs synchronised across several displays.
Can we keep using existing displays?
Often yes. We check free of charge whether your existing devices can be integrated into our CMS. If they can, you save the hardware investment — if not, we say so directly.
